Stainless steel is a proven, durable material that is particularly easy to clean and does not rust. It offers a smooth surface without any inherent flavour. Stainless steel bits only have a minor effect on the horse's saliva production.
A single-jointed loose ring snaffle is a classic bit and versatile in use. The single-jointed mouthpiece adapts to the horse’s mouth and allows direct action on the tongue and bars. The loose rings provide mobility in the bit and can encourage chewing activity.
The hollow mouthpiece makes the bit lighter, which can increase comfort for the horse and promote a softer acceptance of the contact.
